Mark Perry discusses coaching against his brother Chris during the quarter finals of the NCAA Tournament. Mark and fellow coach Cory Cooperman were at The Room in Sparta, NJ for a 3 session clinic.
Mark Perry is a 4x All American and 2007 and 2008 NCAA Champion. He is known for his unorthodox scrambling style. He is notably flexible and attended the legendary Blair Academy in NJ and wrestled under Jeff Buxton. He happens to be the nephew of Oklahoma State's legendary wrestler and coach John Smith.
Mark Perry in one of the biggest upsets of the 2007 NCAA tournament upset 2x defending national champion Johny Hendricks from Oklahoma State in the finals.
Mark Perry is now an assistant coach at Cal Poly University
After his finals match his emotions poured out on the mat and went into the stands to hug his father and mother.
