Halsey had an exceptional prep career at Rancho Buena Vista HS...wrestled to a career high school record of 150-16 with 80 pins...was a CIF State Champion...a three-time team MVP and four-time All-Palomar League selection...had the most pins in San Diego...was named Athlete of San Diego two times...also played football and was a first-team All-San Diego County selection at linebacker.
