The NCAA wrestling championships are one of the most intense and emotional places around. Shrink it down from eight mats to one elevated mat, 20,000 in attendance, millions watching live on tv at home while these warriors square off against each other one on one. Take a look at the preparation and focus that these wrestlers display immediately before going out on to the mat for the NCAA finals. Watch the emotions that they show afterward in victory and defeat. Flowrestling takes you behind the scenes at the NCAA division 1 wrestling tournament during the championship finals.

Damion Hahn had a goal of being the first 4x New Jersey State Champion. His freshman year he had the opportunity when he went to the state finals. He lost 2-1 to Shawn Scannell (Absegami '96) but then went on to win it his next three years. He wrestled at the University of Minnesota in college and helped take the team to its first team title in 2001 when he and every one of his teammates became an All American. He then went on to win his first NCAA Individual Title in 2003 in dramatic fashion when he defeated Jon Trenge by getting the winning takedown w/:03 seconds left. He defended his title in 2004 by defeating rival Ryan Fulsaas of Iowa. Damion Hahn trained for the 2008 Olympic games at 96 KG, where he ended up as the Olympic alternate, placing 2nd in the Olympic Finals trials.
